CooperCon was founded in 2018 by Eric Ulis. Over the years CooperCon has been covered extensively by the media and was featured in NETFLIX's 2022 docuseries, D.B. Cooper: Where Are You?!

From the beginning, attendees have raved about CooperCon. Events have proven themselves to be fascinating, engaging, and fun, year after year. CooperCon is a laid back event that ends each day at a local pub where attendees and presenters enjoy conversations and laughter over drinks and food.

Beginning in 2024, CooperCon is expanding its brand nationwide by adding an annual series of true crime and mystery events called CooperCon Crime!
